Carlyle Lake and Eldon Hazlet State Park have been doing this a long time — and doing it well. The lake, the Park, the campground, the families who've been coming back for 20+ years. We know we're stepping into something that already works.
So no, we're not here to reinvent it. We're showing up with fresh energy, a few new ideas, and a real commitment to taking care of this place the way it deserves.
Friends, family, time on the water — that's the trip. We just want to make the stay a little easier and a lot more comfortable.

Our Cottages
Six single cottages and seven duplexes — all 780 sq ft, lakeside inside Eldon Hazlet State Park. Every cottage has a fire pit, picnic table, and charcoal grill out back.

Cottages 1/2, 6/7, 10/11, 15/16, 17/18, 19/20
Two-unit building sharing a wall. Same great 780 sq ft layout — queen bed, twin loft, kitchenette, covered porch. Fire pit, picnic table, and grill out back. No fireplace.
🐾 ♿ Cottages 13 & 14 Only
Our only pet-friendly and ADA-accessible units — and they include a gas fireplace too. Right next to the playground and pavilion. Bring the whole family, four-legged members included.

Property Map
Cottages 1–12 line the eastern lakefront. The pet-friendly, ADA-accessible duplex (13 & 14) sits inland near the playground and pavilion. Cottages 15–20 cluster to the southwest, with the boat docks just below them. The pool, camp store, and check-in are a short drive west — on a separate road, not pictured.

Crappie, bass, catfish, walleye. Bait, tackle, and licenses at our camp store.
Swimming Pool
On-site pool open daily with a certified lifeguard on duty. Current hours and admission are available from the info button above.
Boating & Sailing
Boat dock access for registered guests. One of the country's top sailing lakes.
Hiking, Birdwatching & Hunting
Miles of trails through Eldon Hazlet State Park. World-class birdwatching, hunting areas, eagles, herons, and deer throughout the park.
